Cooking Instructions

PREPARE FROM THAWED.

  1. For best results, thaw salmon in package, in refrigerator for 24 hours. Alternatively, thaw salmon in cold water for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. 
  2. Remove packaging prior to cooking. 
  3. Pat dry and lightly oil salmon.

BARBECUE:

  1. Preheat barbecue on medium-high. 
  2. To prevent sticking, thoroughly clean and lightly oil grill prior to cooking. 
  3. Grill with lid closed 10 to 12 minutes. Turn salmon carefully every 2 to 3 minutes to crisp bacon evenly on all four sides. 
  4. Let stand 2 minutes before serving.

AIR FRYER:

  1. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C). 
  2. Place salmon in air fryer and cook 12 to 14 minutes. Turn salmon to crisp bacon evenly. 
  3. Let stand 2 minutes before serving.

OVEN:

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). 
  2. Place salmon on parchment lined baking sheet and position in centre of oven. 
  3. Cook for 16 to 18 minutes, Turn salmon halfway through cook time to crisp bacon evenly. 
  4. Let stand 2 minutes before serving.

NOTE:

Cook until minimum internal temperature of 158°F (70°C) is reached. Fully cooked salmon is opaque pink and flakes with a fork. Since appliances vary, these instructions are guidelines only.
