Taste was good however the black pan you cook it in had particles come off in the food when stirring. It looked like BIG flakes of black pepper. Maybe review/change your cooking container.

I never write reviews but I had to because I wasted my money… I did not realize this recipe had changed and that rice was added as a whole precooked meal. It’s truly awful. I loved the original recipe, loaded with veggies but now it’s some carrot strips and can barely see the bell peppers, the teriyaki sauce was not that good. Did not see any other veggies in it as it claims to be. The rice was just mush. Very disappointed for the change…

This was a big mushy mess…so disgusting we couldn’t eat it…first time I’ve ever bought this item which certainly did not look slightly similar to picture on the container. Yes I followed the instructions heating in the oven. There was nothing about it that tasted the least bit decent..I’ll be rethinking my purchases from M&M from now on.

I’m glad this was on sale when I bought it. I would not buy it again, not even at the sale price. It was kinda mushy.

The worst item I've ever bought at M&M. The rice is mush. The teriyaki was almost nonexistent. Taste was 99% drab. Instructions were followed and watched constantly.

I love this dish!! The chicken is very tender and plentiful. Basmate rice is supposed to have a bit of a different texture. I add a small tin of drained pineapple chunks in the last 10 mins. Awesome

We enjoyed the chicken teriyaki very much. Chicken was very tender and plentiful. It had a nice teriyaki sauce.

I was disappointed with the amount of chicken in the dish. I think I had an entire piece of broccoli in the entire container. It was not even 1 chicken breast in cube for the whole meal. Very disappointing that they don't put a lot of protein.

Sorry to say, as we enjoy all other MM meals. Like others say, it is mushy, and that is from the oven, not the microwave method.

I love a lot of m&m meals, but this meal was awful. Very disappointing as it cost $16.99 plus tax. The rice was really mushy and meal didn't have a lot of taste. Someone mentioned to leave the rice out of the meal & then we could add our own rice which I think is a great idea. Also you may want to think about customers buying this as their first purchase from m&m....not good for 1st impressions!

We loved it, just needed extra sauce. And the rice seemed a bit dence. But I imagine if there was more sauce the rice would have been better. But overall, we loved it. And will definitely buy again.

Would have given this a 4 star if there was more chicken and vegetables in this 907g package. The ratio of rice to chicken and vegetables is about 80/20 and the rice is mushy.On the plus side the flavours in the teriyaki sauce are in point.

Vraiment tres goûteux

Ce plat a un très bon goût. Par contre la méthode de cuisson suggéré n'est pas adéquate. Le riz devient trop cuit et pâteux. Ce serait délicieux cuit décongelé et dans une poêle sur la cuisinière.

I love M&M products but this was the worst thing I’ve ever tasted. Rice is super gross to the point of not being edible. Chicken is mediocre, which is very surprising since M&M chicken products are usually very good. I definitely would not recommend it to anyone.

I wish M&M would sell the chicken and leave the rice out of the box. Same for the Butter Chicken dishes. I always throw the rice in the bin and make my own rice. It's a waste of food and money. Please sell these dishes separate from the rice, because your rice is pretty bad.

This meal is pretty gross to me honest. Don't waste your money. The sauce is waaaay too sweet and the rice had a gross mealy texture to it. Won't buy this again.

May be the worst thing I've ever bought from m&m. I took one bite, picked out the chicken, and threw the rest away. Complete waste of money. If this was the first thing I'd ever bought from m&m, it would have been the last.

I left most of this meal. Tiny amount of vegetables. Tasteless. Stodgy. It was recommended by a member of staff; but really yuk.

Product was very easy to cook & tasty. Would be nice if it was a lot larger in portion; had to cook more rice. Would buy it again🙂

I was very disappointed. The rice was VERY mushy. I don't understand how some reviews say that there is a lot of sauce, and in my case, there was hardly any. Are the meals not prepared by M&M in the same way ? I belive those who say that it was excellent, but really, this dish that I had was not very good.

This meal's only redemption was the amount of chicken and overall taste, however, the dish was extremely mushy and lacked the amount of vegetables as advertised on the packaging.
