Nasty. Why did you change these?

B

They were too wide. Had to cut in half to fit in bun. Too thin.. liked the one to used sell.

What happened to one of my favorites!?!?!

They ruined one of my favorites. Whomever made the decision to change this product so drastically needs to see all this feedback. Garbage products won't be tolerated and make no mistake this once amazing product couldn't be more garbage.

From the freezer to the garbage

These used to be pretty good, but then M&M must have gone with a different supplier, and now they are trash. Smaller, with a different (bad) taste. Plus, they feature frustrating packaging that encourages the user to just give-up (for real - it's a STRUGGLE to get these out of the package, and then once you taste them you realize it wasn't worth it).I have to wonder what M&M were thinking. Look at the ratings that these are getting - you HAVE to think that they're noticing not only the bad word-of-mouth, but also a SHARP decline in sales on these. It makes me think that the company really doesn't care about the customer experience, only their bottom-line. If you're thinking about buying these, please reconsider. Save yourself the frustration and disappointment. Your local grocery store might stock a similar, better version. Even if they're on sale, you'll still feel ripped-off.

Good but cooking instructions are flawed

I bought these recently and tried them out and liked them very much as rib sandwiches with a bit of Joe Beef BBQ sauce. However, as I came to this page to show them to other people, I was surprised to find them rated so low. After reading the reviews, I came to a few conclusions.1. The product used to be different and of better quality. It's been a worrying trend with M&M foods for a while now to drastically lower quality and package size while demanding the same price. This needs to stop.2. They are indeed very difficult to remove from the packaging. Ridiculously so.3. The cooking instructions are wrong. The instructions say to cook for 15 to 20 minutes at 400 degrees in the oven, flipping once. They did not look done so I used my meat thermometer to test them and the internal temperature was only 140 degrees, 25 degrees shy of properly cooked meat. I turned the heat up to 450 and put them back in for 10 minutes, getting an internal temperature of 180. They weren't dry at all and were quite good. I suspect the bad experiences of many reviewers stem from following these flawed cooking instructions. All in all, good product held back by poor packaging, poor cooking instructions and a recent drop in quality.

Boneless rib

Used to get these years ago and then no more. So glad they are back. Like them because they are quick and easy when you are short on time. Flavor is very good and no messy bones

Pork cutlets review: Sadly, I will not purchase this product again.

Prior to the change in packaging, I found this an excellent product. Since the changes, I find the vacuum packaging unacceptable--only the sharpest knives can cut through this plastic wrapping. Have a thought for arthritic fingers, please! Rinsing the packages in warm water does make removal somewhat easier. And, there are only 6 cutlets to a package now, instead of the former number of portions. The cutlets are only 2/3rds the previous size, drier, and not as tasty as before. The photo in the flyer is misleading. I won't purchase this product again.

Disappointed

I used to enjoy these pork riblettes, then they stopped selling them for a while. I was disappointed that they discontinued them. I was so happy when I saw they were back ! Unfortunately I was not happy with the changes they made. They were very difficult to remove from the plastic pouches they were sealed in and they were very greasy! I will not be buying them again. It would be awesome if you would go back to the previous way of making them! Thank you!

Terrible

Not worth 1 star but I can't give less. Pure garbage and that's where they ended up. Not near the taste or looks of the original. Packaging is terrible. Not ever burying again.

Great product, but smaller portion

I was surprised that amount in the box had been changed but since I don't eat them very often, I feel that's okay. I wish it wasn't so expensive for a smaller portion size. Still a great product though.

Pork Cutlets

I don’t know what M&M is doing, but it’s not good. These pork cutlets are absolutely disgusting now! Obviously changed suppliers, because these are not worth a dime!!! You now only get 6, fight like heck with the individual wrapping, no taste, a piece of leather!!! All going in garbage! This is NOT what I’m used to!

The quality has gone downhill

These used to be juicy and tasty. Now, they're not.

Reinforce packaging, wtf?

Little known secret.... same pork patty as the infamous "McRib", bullseye original answer villagio sausage bun. Not happy with the smaller portion box, the plastic wrapping around the patties seems to be reinforced with steel, takes an effort to cut, even with scissors.

Shrinkflation

My boys loved these and while they were expensive, you got more in the box so it was good to pick up when on sale etc. We’ve been buying them for many years. I was actually looking at shopping on the site and now I see the amount of this product has been halved and is now super expensive for pork with fillers. Hoping if enough of us feel the same, they will bring the original product and packaging back.

Poor Packaging

I agree with all of the previous reviewers. The packaging is extremely difficult to get the product out. I hate it! And I agree that on its own, it's pretty tasteless. But it's fine. These are great for making my own version of the McDonald's "McRib". But please please please bring back the old version or at least improve the packaging.

Disappointed!

Used to buy these all the time. There was a note on the shelf saying these had new packaging but were the same product. First off....the new packaging sucks. It is so annoying to get into and why is it a bigger box for less product? Now you have to fight to get each one out! Not cool. They look complete different. If this is the same product than what happened to this batch? There was clearly clumps of frozen grease on each one too. It was never like that before. Please go back to your original product! Won't be purchasing these ones again. So disappointed 😔.

Disgusting

Disgusting, overpriced pieces of garbage and don't get me started on the packaging. I used to buy the original version regularly for a quick meal but I won't be buying these again. Whoever made the decision to change them should be fired.

Boneless rib style pork cutlets

The best way to enjoy this meat is to cook it in the oven. Microwave cooking makes it tough. The frying pan method has to be low and slow in order for the meat to be tender. The meat must be dressed up to be tasty. On its own it's bland.

Makes a great sub

These rib cutlets make a marvelous submarine sandwich complemented with Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce, onions and pickles. Better than what you get at the local sub shop. I found the cutlets are bigger than the original 16 pack that M&Ms used to offer. You actually can't find these anywhere else as they have been discontinued at the supermarket.

New boneless ribs disappointing

My kids used to love these. These are disgusting though. And the packaging is awful. They are individually vaccum sealed now which you think would be great but it's like take the package off a popsiccle that melted to the wrapper. It's slipper and gross. One was folded into itself and I couldn't even pull it out. Even after cutting in different places. Will not buy again

Bland

Wasn't very impressed. Tried the great value from Walmart. Way better and cheaper

W

It's too bad that the people running M and M's don;t pay attention to the comments. If they did, then they would go back to the original recipe. Too bad they don't care enough for their business, nor the consumer. These 'new' rib pork pieces are totally disgusting.

What happen to these....

What the H. E. double hocket stickz are these? These are absolutely disgusting!!! What happen! I miss the old ones big thick conky with flavour! These are so watery and gross with no flavour rubbery and bland! I honestly didn't even give it to my dog at the end just threw it out! Absolutely disgusting!! What a shame what these have turned into

Use to be my go to product...

This product use to be fantastic!! Since it has been changed it is terrible!! Way too greasy and taste different and not for the better. Is M&M's aware we do not mind paying a little more if the product is good? If it taste the old way I would pay more. The way they are now you could put the price at $5 and I still would not go near it!!
